The Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) has 26,000 regularized workers, said AFAB Administrator Emmanuel Pineda in his 5th State of the Freeport Address on Wednesday.

He said despite the fact that most businesses in FAB are still in the path of recovery, FAB still registers a high number of 37,261 workers, of which 26,008 are regular.

The number shows 69.80% regularization rate.

“This is a result of AFAB’s diligent hard work”, he said.”

Although these figures are still below the heights we reached in the pre-pandemic years, they offer a glimmer of hope and promise”, Pineda said.
